Are transcripts of podcasts available? And are these audio podcasts available as video too?
Salve, Nima! Currently the podcast is audio only–no video or transcripts. We do sometimes post video content to our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbE05jFFX10KxPcRi2fM1xQ
Salve Iustus,
Would consider to add transcripts of them and probably a video version?
I believe too many people would appreciate it.
Thanks,
If someone were to give us a sizable grant or were willing to volunteer to create transcripts, we could perhaps make those available, although there would still be the complication that there are several mistakes in every episode. A transcript, we think, would want to note these, which (a) would require a lot of careful work, and (b) could make the vibe of the show more technical than we intend it. This doesn’t mean we’re not willing to consider it, though.
Similarly with video–it would take a lot more money and a lot more time to create video episodes. If someone wanted to pay us enough that we could afford to work less in our actual jobs, we could maybe create a video show. That certainly would be fun!
